Landfill Gas Industries (LGI) specialises in converting landfill gas into clean energy. Developing power generation solutions for landfill owners and operators throughout Australia, LGI has delivered landfill gas installations for a diverse range of sites. The services that LGI provides includes gas extraction, flaring and monitoring, design, supply, and installation of systems.

CV Infrastructure was contracted to completed the design and construction of Methane Gas Generation sites for LGI. As a result of the team’s efforts, LGI is now able to export 1 Mega-Watt (1 million Watts) of green energy into the Energex grid.

The CV Infrastructure provided a turn key package including:

• Primary and secondary design and protection
• HV & LV cabling and connections
• HV & LV equipment protection and injection testing
• Connection to the Energex overhead network via a pole mounted recloser
